Homelessness in London has reached crisis levels.
Amidst soaring statistics and constrained budgets, we need active and urgent leadership to focus on solutions that can turn the rising tide of homelessness.
The London Ending Homelessness Accelerator brings forward a review of London’s homelessness system to drive forward reductions in all forms of homelessness across the city.
The programme provides a unique opportunity to address the homelessness crisis in London head-on by developing evidence-led, cross-London strategic approaches that use resources as efficiently as possible to improve the lives of Londoners.
Our shared aim is to design and implement a programme of change. This will include scaling up interventions that have worked before, assessing options that have worked well elsewhere and using the expertise and experience of all stakeholders with an interest in homelessness to find new solutions to this crisis.
The programme is led by London Councils, London boroughs, the Greater London Authority and the Centre for Homelessness Impact with support from the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government. Partners include other government departments and public bodies, and leaders from the voluntary, community, and housing sector.
