Our flagship event is the biannual Impact Forum, which is an exciting opportunity to connect with like-minded individuals and engage in discussion that can inspire meaningful impact.

Solving homelessness through partnership

Homelessness is an urgent social problem in the UK and other countries. But solving homelessness can seem an unmanageable challenge. Homelessness is driven by complex interactions of structural factors, place-based context and individual trajectories. Prevention is more effective and less costly than crisis response, yet receives limited attention. Can private action - social entrepreneurship, philanthropy, and new forms of private capital deployment – make a difference? Hosted by the Marshall Institute in partnership with the Centre for Homelessness Impact to mark the publication of 'How to Use Evidence to End Homelessness', including a chapter by Jonathan Roberts: "Social entrepreneurship: creating social impact in the homelessness field". Join us on Tuesday 13 October from 6.30pm - 8pm.

At this event, held in partnership with the Alliance for Useful Evidence, we discussed standards of evidence in homelessness and asked participants which barriers and facilitators to evidence production and use they encounter in their work.
