Why did you change the date of the Impact Forum?

Impact Forums are intended to be free and accessible for all and having listened to people in our network who have shared that the price of hotels in Cardiff are prohibitively expensive for the original date due to a concert taking place locally, we have decided to change the date to Wednesday 24 May 2023.

I am no longer able to attend the event, what should I do?

We hope that this change in date does not inconvenience you and we warmly welcome you to join us on the 24th of May in-person or online. If you have already signed up and can no longer attend, please email hello@homelessnessimpact.org.

The good news is that people are welcome to join the event both in person and online, so if you're no longer able to join us in person and would like to join us online instead, this can easily be arranged by sending us an email.

What is the theme for the Impact Forum?

The theme for this event is Learning in adversity: Creating change during a cost of living crisis.

What happens at Impact Forums?

Our Impact Forum brings together the most influential thought leaders, policy-makers and practitioners, entrepreneurs and people with experiences of homelessness to exchange ideas, share, learn and collaborate. It will provide a unique opportunity to discuss how evidence can be used to end homelessness and to build a movement of like-minded individuals and organisations committed to doing so. We want to give people a chance to hear from experts with lived experience of homelessness, charity leaders, frontline workers and policy makers to focus on how we can reflect, learn, and improve the impact of work to end homelessness for good.

Who will be speaking at the Impact Forum?

One of our keynote speaker swill be Professor Dame Carol Black, author of an independent review of drugs strategy commissioned by the UK Government, whose final report was in 2021. Dame Carol is also Chair of the British Library and of the Centre for Ageing Better. We look forward to sharing more information about our speakers and programme shortly.
