CHI welcomes new trustees to its board

The Centre for Homelessness Impact has appointed three new members to its board of trustees.

The new trustees, who were appointed after a rigorous open recruitment process, formally took up their positions in March 2024. They are:

  • Christiana Omakolo Ugowe, who has over 15 years of proven financial and accountancy experience in varied sectors ranging from audit, banking, fast moving consumer goods, charities, the public sector, and education;
  • Rebecca Lury, a Partner at Pagefield with over 15 years' experience providing strategic corporate communications support, encompassing public affairs and public relations, supporting businesses, charities and membership organisations;
  • Darren Crocker, who is the Commercial Director for Operations at National Highways, providing leadership, oversight and governance on a £1bn per annum supply chain portfolio.

Andrew Hudson, chair of CHI’s Board of Trustees, said: ‘I'm delighted to welcome Christiana, Darren and Rebecca to the board. They bring both their specific professional skills and fresh perspectives on our continuing work to drive the use of evidence to help end homelessness for good. All the other board members and the Chief Executive and management team are really looking forward to working with them.’
