Alice Gilderdale

Implementation Lead

Alice joined CHI as an Implementation Lead in September 2025. In this role she leads partnerships and projects that support people working in and around homelessness to use evidence and data to maximise the impact of their work and drive meaningful change.

Alice is a social justice advocate with a particular interest in homelessness and housing inequality. Prior to joining CHI, she worked for a local homelessness charity in Cambridge, where she led the design and delivery of The Haven, a pioneering homeless women’s project. Alongside her work in the charity sector, she served as an elected Councillor and later Deputy Leader of Cambridge City Council, helping to align portfolios and projects to the Council's strategic objectives.
