Director of Communications and Public Engagement
Greg is Director of Communications and Public Engagement and leads our work on shaping narratives and public perceptions of homelessness so that these align with evidence. This includes our open source library of non-stigmatising images of homelessness and our best practice checklist for talking and writing about homelessness.
He is co-editor of our forthcoming book of essays How To Use Evidence To End Homelessness, in which prominent leaders, experts, practitioners and researchers discuss how evidence and data can drive smarter action to improve outcomes for people at risk.
Greg’s interest in homelessness and inequality stems from his previous career in journalism and the many interviews he had with people affected.
He spent three decades as a reporter, correspondent and editor, including 20 years at The Times as political correspondent, assistant news editor, education editor and social affairs editor.
