Matthew joined the Centre for Homelessness Impact as Head of Value for Money in January 2023.

Prior to joining the Centre, Matt worked in a variety of roles at the UK National Audit Office, assessing the value for money of spending in areas including health, home affairs and justice, and local government. He was the lead author of the NAO's 2017 report on homelessness, and its 2021 investigation into the rehousing of rough sleepers during the COVID-19 pandemic.
