The project is testing offering time-limited accommodation and support to enable non-UK nationals to engage with legal advice in order to resolve the immigration status. The maximum period for which accommodation is being offered is 20 weeks for people sleeping rough who have limited recourse to public funds due to their immigration status.
We're implementing this approach in four local authority areas, working with up to 200 people over the course of the project. The evaluation will use a theory-based approach called contribution tracing which combines qualitative and quantitative data.
